Kevin Butler graduated in June of 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources. He is a retired veteran with 26 years of service as a United States Army soldier participating in several conflicts. Mr. Butler currently volunteers at the employment center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tucker Georgia where he assists those who want to improve their talents and skills in finding a job or making a career change. Kevin also connects them with career workshops through which they can participate in mock interviews, create and improve resumes and enhance their career skills. He also serves as the secretary for Young Men program. Kevin is married and has eight children and six grand children. Mr. Butler enjoys reading, baking, photography, and spending time with his family and entertaining friends.
Mona Reynolds graduated in June of 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management. This is her second Master’s degree, her first one was in Business Administration. Mona has held several leadership roles in her professional career. While serving as the Director of Human Resources of WAW International, of Atlanta, GA, Mona led the company to build new outsourcing relationships and improved management practices. At US Airways, Inc. she had a successful career as a Lead Flight Attendant where she served for 22 years facilitating the recruitment and on-boarding for new employees. In addition to her two graduate degrees, Ms. Jones earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mona will be attending Law School in the Fall of 2011.
Nikeya Veney of Temple Hills, Maryland completed her MBA with a concentration in Finance, at the Keller Graduate School of Management in June of 2011. Prior to attending Keller, Nikeya attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Hospitality Administration. While attending Georgia State, she became a member of Delta Sigma Pi International Business Fraternity. She actively volunteers with Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk, March of Dimes and the Lupus Walk. In addition, she is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority where she has held national, regional, and local executive board offices. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
Brian Shadix currently serves as the Director of Career Services for DeVry University in Atlanta, GA. Brian received his Bachelor’s degree from the Illinois State University in Human Resource Management and started his career as an intern with the Spherion Corporation and has a proven track record of providing strong leadership and team results. While at Spherion, Brian was promoted several times, holding the roles of Recruiter, Branch Manager, Senior Branch Manager, and Area Manager. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Keller with a concentration in Human Re-source Management and plans will graduate in February of 2012. Brian and his wife Colette have two daughters, Sophia and Sylvia. In his spare time he enjoys following sports, staying active and spending time with his family and friends.
